BottleRock Napa: Where Dreams Come True.

For as long as I can remember, Tom Petty has been a part of my life. I have a photographic memory, and I honestly can remember the Free Fallin Video playing on the tv when I was still super small and cruising around on my mini bmx bike in Lake Tahoe. Tom Petty's music has been the soundtrack to my life and I've seen some pretty epic concerts in my adult life so far, but he's still been on my radar. Turns out, so has BottleRock Napa. We've lived in Northern California for 3 years now, and I've never been able to get tickets. UNTIL THIS YEAR. I found out Tom Petty was the headliner for one of the days of BottleRock and it was an absolute must. The day tickets were announced, Justin and I were both online and ended up snagging 8 tickets. Which for me, was like winning a bucket list lottery!

Those 8 tickets meant I got to experience a major bucket list experience with 8 of my closest friends. More friends ended up discovering this, and we ended up with a total of 12 in our BottleRock Crew!

Limos of Napa did an excellent job taking care of us and sent a fantastic designated driver and a stretch SUV to get us there comfortably in one ride, and of course, in total style.

I'm a big fan of music festivals in general, but I'm really 100% sold on this one. It was such a perfect combination of all the local wineries, local rental companies, fine dining establishments and many many other local vendors teaming up to share the best of Northern California. They did such an amazing job planning this festival - from the extremely well planned entry and security checkpoints, to the amazing stages and beautiful fresh clean sod grass for everyone to chill on. From an event planner stand point, I was really impressed with how everything was an experience. So much of what I do, as well as the rest of the high end event planning industry, is focused on experiential events and it was so satisfying to see that be such an important focus for the entirety of this event. Even the individual vendor booths were well executed lounges where attendees had the opportunity to really interact with the wineries, and hang out with friends.

And then, of course Tom Petty blew my mind, and I'm still just so amazed at how truly fantastic that entire weekend was-getting to see one of my music icons live surrounded by my besties.

This experience is in my top 10 of my life and will likely stay there. Oh, and I can't wait for BottleRock 2018-you'd better believe I'm going back. There was so much there, that I didn't even scratch the surface of the fun. I'll definitely need the 3 day pass next time!
